I love shopping! And you know what I love more than shopping? Online shopping, in the comfort of my own home! And I can do it impromptu with my other online friends from other parts of the world. It’s a really nice experience. I can go shopping while doing some work. I can easily do a search for coupons and buying guides before I do some major shopping. In my opinion it’s more practical. I don’t even have too worry about too much crowd or losing my cellphone or wallet to pickpockets.
Anyway, speaking of shopping… are you ready for the Black Friday sales? I’m not going on a shopping spree. But I’ll be looking for some jewelries and watches. I feel I deserve a treat for all the work I’ve done. And I don’t have a watch, would you believe that? I mean, I do have a couple but they’re old already and I haven’t used them for years. Of course, I’ll be on the lookout for really great deals, nobody can resist them.
Happy thanksgiving everyone and happy shopping!!!

I was planning to buy a dress for my cousin’s wedding but it didn’t push through. I actually didn’t have time to look for one so I thought I’d settle for a blouse and skirt or pants. So, I bought this from Marks & Spencer:

It’s almost the same except for the stripes… mine’s green and black with different thickness and mine’s got a black ribbon belt.

I’m more of a tees and jeans kind of girl so I really don’t have many blouses. I was also eyeing a black and white, more girly, and a little frilly blouse but I chose this one because it’s more practical. I mean, I can wear it even on not so formal days. I’m not sure yet if I’m gonna pair it with a skirt or pants.

I’m thinking of what to give my cousin as a belated Christmas gift. She is in the US that’s why I haven’t given her a gift yet. Better late than never, right? Anyway, I’m thinking I’d let her choose from Zenni Optical’s huge selection of Holiday frames and surprise her with what she’ll choose. They have a huge wonderful variety to choose from and I’m sure she’d love at least one from their selection. I love this one in particular and I’m pretty sure she’d love this too, we have almost the same style:

I remember on her last visit here in the Philippines about a couple of years ago, she ordered her prescription glasses here because she thought it was much cheaper here. Well, she actually bought the frame from the US and then brought it here and ordered her lenses here. Looks like she’s not familiar with Zenni Optical or else she would have ordered her glasses from there. And I’m going to tell her about it, I’m sure she’ll be glad to hear about it for they have high quality eyeglasses with very reasonable prices.

I finally finished listening to the Twilight Saga’s audiobooks and I loved it! I am actually glad I watched the movie first before reading the books because if not, then the movie would have been a huge disappointment. As always, the books are better than the movie but I’ll still be waiting for the release of the movies to complete the saga.
Watching the movie actually helped my imagination while I listened to the audiobooks. I had to watch the movie again because it kinda confused me which parts were actually in the movie. Haha! And it made me love audiobooks so I’m now looking forward for more.

I have so much to blog but don’t know exactly where to start. I’m still on holiday mode. Haha! All I can say right now is December 2008 was a very expensive month for me… that is why I don’t like going to malls. But it’s okay, it was worth it. I enjoyed it. Just bear with me, I would post about stuff in the next few days. TTFN!

My BIL, nephew and I went to Bocaue the other day to buy firecrackers. My sister and the kids were also with us. It was my BIL and my nephew who went from store to store to check out what’s new and to compare prices. My sister and I just stayed in the car with the kids. They bought a lot already but they still went back there yesterday to buy some more, this time with my mom and my aunt and uncle. We will all be spending new year’s eve at my aunt’s house together with my cousins and I don’t know how they’re gonna light up all those firecrackers. All I’m absolutely sure of is I’m not gonna help. Haha!
Here’s what they bought:

There’s still one more set but my BIL arranged them in a box already and I was too lazy to put them out again just to take some photos. And I don’t know what the names of these firecrackers are and what exactly they do or look like. Haha!

You know those vending machines in toys stores where you put a coin in and get a surprise item from a certain set, usually keychains? Well, my BIL got addicted to it and I joined him too… a little! Haha!
Now, I’d like you to meet Mario…

Mario is depicted as a short, pudgy, Italian-American plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom, having originated from New York. He’s worth P100 (two tokens). I got him on my first try! Yay me! Haha!
And meet Mario’s younger brother, Luigi…

Luigi is normally depicted as cowardly, but when he does get the courage to step up, he can be tough and overcome his fears. He’s also worth P100 (two tokens). Got him on my first try also!
I think I’m a little lucky because they’re the two characters that I really want and I got them both. My BIL got a few characters already before he got Mario and he got a lot of duplicates before he got Luigi. By the way, we both got Luigi today.
I’m not sure if I still want to complete the whole set but my BIL does, and the only one he’s missing is Donkey Kong… maybe I’ll show you his collection one time.
They’re supposed to be my new phone’s buddies but they have to wait for a couple of days.

I just wanted to share this with you. This paperbag from Crabtree & Evelyn had been sitting on the table outside my room for sometime and I didn’t look at it, thinking it was my sister’s. Then after a couple of days, my sister said it was for me! Yay! It was her boss’ gift for me as token because I did their Christmas & anniversary party banner. It was a really nice gesture and I wasn’t really expecting anything. And here’s what’s inside:

The soap smells good!!! Anyway, she also asked me to make an album for her… their Christmas & 5th Anniversary Party album. I’m just not sure if she’s hiring me for my services or if she’s asking me a favor. Whichever, I’d be glad to.
