Russian Artist Makes American Debut

Established Russian Artist Victor Lysakov is thrilled to present his modern, expressionistic work to the American public. He has a vast personal collection, but only a select 40 have been released and are available for sale. Each image is personally hand-signed by the artist himself.
Victor Lysakov was born in Siberia in 1952 and at the early age of 6, he already realized that he was destined to be an artist. He quickly became famous and is particularly renowned in Russia and Europe. He has participated in several prestigious exhibitions and auctions in Russia, Germany, France and Italy and he was named one of “The Best European Artists” in 1991.
He is a self-taught artist and spent most of his time in museums. He first experimented with watercolor but now paints almost exclusively with oil or acrylic on canvas. He is known for using vibrant, unmistakable colors and his color palette is known to be very distinct. His unique compositions include creatures, figures, animals and nature.
At first glance, his artwork may seem curious, mysterious and even frightening. Lysakov challenges the viewer to conquer their fear and be able to see the depiction of real life in his paintings. Each piece of his artwork is said to have a unique story behind it.
