Loafers

Published by B under Window Shopping

One of my most favorite pair of shoes are loafers. I love loafers because it never goes out of style and you can wear it with jeans, slacks, shorts, skirts and dresses. It’s a classic and very comfortable too! I remember my very pair of loafers, it’s Italian and the color is like  a brownish maroon. And I went online window shopping today for loafers at SHOEbuy and here are the pairs that I liked:

Bass Wayfarer

Rockport Cushner

Franco Sarto Cash

Gorgeous, aren’t they? I promise myself I’m going to buy me a pair next year! for the meantime, I have to fix my stuff first and put all the office supplies in one place so it’ll be easier when I’m looking for something when doing a project.

Mickey Mouse MP3 Player

Published by B under Window Shopping

Have you seen these?

Mickey Mouse MP3 Player

It’s a Mickey Mouse MP3 player by iRiver. It’s tiny and it’s cute! I’ve also read that it has good sound quality so considering the price, it is a good buy. It has a LED indicator and you can also use it as a flash storage. The ears are used to adjust the volume and to scroll through the song tracks. It comes with a high-speed USB 2.0 cable and battery life lasts for approximately 9 hours, just connect it to your computer for charging.

I’ve seen a lot of sellers in Multiply and the price ranges from P1200 to P3500, depending on the storage capacity. I’m itching to buy one, the pink one, but I’m thinking if I buy this then buy an ebook reader, then might as well just save up for a second hand iTouch right? My niece bought an 8GB second-hand iTouch in Greenhills for only P8000. And that was a couple of months ago, maybe it’ll be cheaper by the time I buy it. But I’ll still be saving up for these buy a couple for my niece and nephew.

Twilight Soundtrack, The Score & Teddy

Published by B under Mine, Window Shopping

I got hold of a copy of Twilight Soundtrack and The Score albums and I listened to both already. The soundtrack was nice. It has a nice selection of songs, a couple were a little off the theme of Bella and Edward’s love story, but the others are good and I like most of it. My most favorite, well aside from Claire De Lune, is Never Think by Rob Pattinson. It sounded like Ben Harper’s style, another one of my favorites.

The Score is also nice, you’ll surely love it if you’re a fan of the movie. You’ll relive the scenes in your head while you’re listening to the album. I especially liked Phascination Phase, The Lion Fell in Love with the Lamb, and Bella’s Lullaby. The second one reminding me of the movie Interview with the Vampire, the scene where Lestat was playing the piano. I’m planning to read the book while listening to this. Haha!

You can read about the movie here.

——————–

Tell me what you think of this:

Cute isn’t it? It’s actually a USB flash drive. Now tell me it’s still cute when you see this:

Looks kinda tragic, doesn’t it? Makes me feel sad for the teddy.

Skechers Boots

Published by B under Window Shopping

A couple of bebot twitters, Ems and Peachy, were talking about boots and it got me curious so I asked which boots they were talking about. They gave me a link to the boots and I want my own pair! I’m gonna get me a pair no matter what, even if it takes 6 months or more before I get it. At least, I know I own it, I just don’t have it yet. Haha! Here’s how it looks like:

And it’s pink… just like my camera! Isn’t it pretty? :D

And did you see? Shoebuy.com has a promo right now… $20 off $50 or more when you pay with PayPal! Very tempting! But I can’t buy right now. I’m still waiting for something.

La Sirena

Published by B under Window Shopping

I’ve been browsing Etsy a lot these days, hunting for some great stuff and it has inspired me a lot to create my own accessories. I went to Quiapo last week to see what my options are and I’m planning to go back soon to buys some stuff, I just need to plan it first and list the basics that I’ll be needing. Anyway, as I was surfing Etsy, I found this bracelet which is very unique and I find it funny but I find it amazing too. Take a look at this:

It’s an antique fork made into a silver plated bracelet. It’s an actual antique silver plated fork by Mary Andrews. Original marked 1847 Rogers Bros XII silver plate with ornate “Siren” mermaid design at base of handle. Don’t you just love those swirls? :D

If you want to check it out, Here’s the link to the Etsy seller named contrary.

Boots

Published by B under Window Shopping

I had a pair of black Esprit boots that’s almost like the classic Dr. Marten’s and it’s gone now. I had to get rid of it already because the leather was starting to stink and the lining was peeling off already, staining my socks. And I miss it terribly. I have another pair but it’s a bit more smart casual than for adventure stuff like climbing steel buildings or something like that, which reminds me I’m going to post about the dream I had last night on my other blog. Anyway, I’ve always wanted to buy a pair of boots and so I surfed the net and here’s what I found:

So pretty!!! And here’s how my other pair looks like, although it’s not from Nine West but a local brand and with shorter heels that’s almost flat…

Moleskine

Published by B under Window Shopping

I want!!!

Moleskine is the heir of the legendary notebook, used by European artists and thinkers for the past two centuries.

This silent and discreet keeper of an extraordinary tradition, which has been missing for years, has been reproduced by the Italian company Modo & Modo since 1998. With its various different page styles it accompanies the creative professions and has become a symbol of contemporary nomadism.

Moleskine is a family of notebooks for different functions, according with a free mindstyle, both basic and emotional.

I want a Sketchbook and a Cahier and I’m getting mine from Avalon.ph, it’s cheaper there than in the official Moleskine PH site.

I’m off to the mall now to look for a TV stand for our TV in the living room. TTYL!

Birkenstock & Isis

Published by B under Mine, Window Shopping

Another thing to add to my wishlist are a couple of pairs of Birkenstock. First is the classic Taupe Suede Arizona. I love those sandals with two straps. I remember on my orientation day in college, I wore a pair of black two-strap sandals (Esprit) and one of the older guys shouted at me that it wasn’t allowed in the university’s dress code. Haha! Freshman pa lang pasaway na! Of course, I didn’t know about it and later on they considered it given that you should wear socks. And one of my crushes, named Nilo, remembered me because of those slippers. He told me I was cool. :D

I remember also that I had a of sandals almost similar to this one except that it’s not Birkenstock. I wore it almost everyday going to school. Unfortunately it finally gave up on me when I brought it to Boracay, I think. Anyway, here’s another pair that I would love to have, a Strawberry Isis (Birko-Flor):

This reminded of the scents that I used to wear back then also, Mark & Spencer’s Isis and Florentyna. Those were my signature scents when I was in college according to my friends.

So, that’s more about me. Talk to you all again next time. I’m off now to go shopping for silk ties for my friend.

Backpack

Published by B under Window Shopping

I need a new travel backpack. All my life I’ve only had two… the first one was a Jansport overnight pack. It’s color blue and has no special anything. It’s just a plain backpack with a pocket on the flap. But that’s what I used for the longest time, which reminds me that it is still with Carl. I had to replace it because the rubbery plastic coating of the lining inside the bag started to come off already. My second one was a North Face daypack. It still looks new but same with the Jansport, the coating inside is starting to come off and it’s making my clothes look dirty. Another thing is, it is small so I have to limit what I bring when going on a trip and I hate bringing more than one bag when traveling.

I love backpacks because it frees both your hands. I remember my friends and I bought a duffel bag, a Polo Sport one, and we all got the same type and color. It really is pretty but it’s also heavy even if it is still empty. So, just imagine me stuffing all my things in there. I was supposed to bring it when I went to La Union and Baguio but I barely could lift it when it was already full. I had to unpack again and transfer all my stuff to my North Face daypack. Haha! And I love backpacks because it is much easier to organize stuff in it. Imagine, I could make 7 days worth of clothes, toiletries, my swimwear, my towel, and my hoodie jacket in a daypack and it still has a little space on the top.

Anyway, this is what I’m planning to buy
