I need a new travel backpack. All my life I’ve only had two… the first one was a Jansport overnight pack. It’s color blue and has no special anything. It’s just a plain backpack with a pocket on the flap. But that’s what I used for the longest time, which reminds me that it is still with Carl. I had to replace it because the rubbery plastic coating of the lining inside the bag started to come off already. My second one was a North Face daypack. It still looks new but same with the Jansport, the coating inside is starting to come off and it’s making my clothes look dirty. Another thing is, it is small so I have to limit what I bring when going on a trip and I hate bringing more than one bag when traveling.
I love backpacks because it frees both your hands. I remember my friends and I bought a duffel bag, a Polo Sport one, and we all got the same type and color. It really is pretty but it’s also heavy even if it is still empty. So, just imagine me stuffing all my things in there. I was supposed to bring it when I went to La Union and Baguio but I barely could lift it when it was already full. I had to unpack again and transfer all my stuff to my North Face daypack. Haha! And I love backpacks because it is much easier to organize stuff in it. Imagine, I could make 7 days worth of clothes, toiletries, my swimwear, my towel, and my hoodie jacket in a daypack and it still has a little space on the top.
Anyway, this is what I’m planning to buy

I’m really getting more interested with Lomography and my wish list is getting bigger and bigger. Haha! I’m telling you, this hobby is getting to be expensive. First of all I want to use slide films which are 2x or 3x the price of ordinary films, depending on the type. Then I have to get the films processed and scanned. I also bought a changing bag for redscaling films and for using 35mm films in my Holga camera. But it’s all worth it because of the fun, suspense and surprise.
Here a few more that I would like to buy for my lomo hobby, linked to Jennie’s store (where I get my supplies):

Holga Strobe Package
Jennie’s package is Holga 120GN and Holgon Strobe Flash but I’ll ask if I can get the Holga 120N instead of the GN. The difference between N and GN is N has plastic lens and GN has glass lens, and I already have a Holga with a glass lens.

Cable Release with Adaptor
I definitely need this one for shooting in bulb mode.

Fisheye 2 with Ringflash

Submarine for Fisheye 2

Dalek Supersampler Green
So, if you’re thinking of getting me a gift for Christmas or my birthday or just because, you know now what to get me. LOL!

When I first heard about Havaianas I was like “Who would want to pay that much for that? They’re rubber slippers…” I meant that you can find rubber slippers in the market. But that was before… like what I’ve mentioned in one of my posts, my cousin gave me a pair of Havaianas and I’m totally in love with it now! Haha!
Side kwento: I remember when buddy bags were just new, my best friends Jing and Dahl and I hated it. Then one day Dahl came to our house wearing one and we laughed at her. Then to my surprise, my dad gave me an expensive leather one that’s made in Italy. Now who would resist that? And yep, I fell in love with it too, just like my Havaianas. Haha!
So anyway, back to my rubber slippers, I wore it for the first time when I went to AA’s house on his birthday. It was raining and thought I’d just wear slippers so I don’t have to worry about getting my feet wet, bahala na kung madulas ako. To my surprise, I didn’t slip! So, okay… maybe I just didn’t encounter one of those slippery floors. Then last month, I went to Batangas and Mindoro with my relatives. I bought my Havaianas flip-flops and my newly bought Merell sandals. And comparing both, the Merell sandals are a little slippery when I went inside the house after taking a dip in the ocean and the flip flops aren’t slippery at all. In fact, I tested it as much as I could… I wore it on the boat going to Mindoro, going swimming on the beach and on the pool, going to the market, walking on the rocky shore, etc. and I didn’t slip, not a single time! This is why I fell in love with it and now I want more! Haha!
I browsed the Havaianas stores online and here’s what’s on my wishlist:

High Light Dark Brown/Golden Sun | Flash Urban Fresh Carmine Red
And this… I want! If only I could, I would return my Merell sandals in the store for a pair of this. It’s just unfair because there’s no version for women. It’s such a shame because it’d be perfect for my adventures, outdooor trips, travels, European cruises, etc. Haha! And I have to see it first in the stores here in Manila because the back sling looks a bit off on some the photos that I’ve seen on the net.

I need a new pair of running shoes. I started jogging again and I’m using my Skechers with a garterized material and it just wouldn’t work. I think it’s becoming loose and it’s hard for me to run unless I wear a really thick socks. I’m not looking for a fancy one, just plain comfortable running shoes. Anyway, I’ve searched Adidas’ and Nike’s online stores and I only found one that I like from Adidas and lots from Nike. And here they are

Adidas Response Trainer 14

Nike Shox Turbo+ VI iD Women’s Running Shoe

Nike Air Max Assail V Women’s Trail Running Shoe

Nike Air Trail Pegasus+ 3 Women’s Trail Running Shoes
So, what do you think I should buy? I think I’ll go with the Pegasus. Aside from the color, I really like what the description says… it’s like this is just what I needed.
The Nike Air Trail Pegasus+ 3 Women’s Trail Running Shoe is ready to hit the trails and fly. Textured synthetic overlays can withstand whatever nature puts in your way, while a powerful midsole gives you the cushioning you’ve come to expect from a Pegasus.
I’ll look in the mall this weekend and see if I can afford it. Haha! I’ll look for an acne treatment, I’m still having a hard time sleeping which gives me more acne. My mind is still restless especially now that my niece’s surgery is already tomorrow morning. Please say a little prayer for her and send her positive thoughts. I’ll be forever thankful

Summer’s gone but like what I’ve said on my other blog, I’m planning to go on a trip next year. And since I’ve lost 20 lbs, I need a new swimwear. It would be a shame though to get rid of my last one because it did cost me P3000 and I was able to wear it only once. Anyway, I’m now preparing my list of things to buy and among them are swimming gears, you know, swimwear, cover-ups, flip-flops, etc. I don’t wear two-piece, a tankini maybe so I’m going for a one-piece suit. Only problem with a one-piece suit is you have to remove it everytime you go to the bathroom. Anyway, i surfed the net and here are a few pieces I’ve found that I like

Pretty huh? I just wish I’ll find some close to that here in the Philippines… the flip-flops maybe but I’m not sure about the swimwear and the top.
